Training Camp League

Managers: 16 is preferred, can support up to 20 though that’s some real watered down teams
Lineup: Standard Lineup, plus slots for GCs and FGCs
Draft: Snake 3RR
Waivers: Weekly Rolling, Main Roster always has priority.
Playoffs: None
Scoring: Point Rank/Guillotine
Season: Weeks 1-17.

  • Each week, 2 managers are dropped to the Practice Squad, except for weeks 1-4 where only 1 is
    • If more than 16 players, double drops start 1 week earlier for each extra player.
  • Once 4 managers are on the Practice Squad the top score on Practice Squad each week is promoted to the Main Roster
  • Once there are 6 managers on the Practice Squad, the lowest score each week is cut and their team returned to the pool
  • Each week, the manager on the main roster with the highest score wins a Guaranteed Contract (GC)
  • GC’s are consumed any time someone holding them would be cut to the Practice Squad.
  • If someone uses a GC, the next lowest manager goes to the Practice Squad instead.
  • A player may hold no more than 2 GCs at any point
    • If a player wins one while holding 2, you just don’t get one.
  • GCs are tradeable up until kickoff of first Sunday game.
  • Future Guaranteed Contracts (FGC) are also tradeable
    • An FGC means if the player who traded away a FGC wins one, instead of them receiving it, the person who has that FGC gets it instead and the FGC is removed. This is league-enforced.
    • Players may hold a GC and trade away a FGC simultaneously. FGC’s only apply to contracts received after the date of trade.
    • If the person who trades away a FGC is sent to the Practice Squad, that FGC is still enforced should that player return to the Main Roster
    • If the person trading away an FGC is cut, the FGC is removed.
    • Players may only hold 1 FGC at a time. If they want to get an FGC from another player, they must surrender the FGC they currently have
  • Managers may trade players as well. All trades will happen immediately with no veto period
    • Should a situation arise where a trade looks blatantly of collusion, the commissioner at their sole discretion may step in.
    • If they do step in, the player receiving the “worse” end of the trade will have to justify to the commissioner why it is a beneficial trade for them. Should there not be a good explanation (at the sole discretion of the Commissioner) any players involved may either be immediately moved down from Main Roster to Practice Squad, Practice Squad to Cut, or even potentially from Main Roster to Cut if the offense is deemed grievous enough.
    • Given the nature of this league, we do not foresee this ever being an issue, but the clause is there should our hand be forced.
  • Managers may only trade with players in the same location (Main Roster, Practice Squad) at them.
  • Once there are 4 managers remaining, a player must have and consume 2 GCs to be safe. If they have only 1, it is consumed and they are sent to the Practice Squad
  • Week 16, no manager can be promoted to the Main Roster, and only 1 manager is demoted to the Practice Squad.
  • Should for any reason there be 3 people left on the Main Roster prior to week 16, then each week, 1 manager will be demoted and 1 manager will be promoted each week until week 16
    • This should never happen and will only happen if a player is either demoted via discipline for collusion or a player outright quits the league while on the Main Roster.
  • 15% of the prize pool will be delegated to each player on the Main Roster in Week 16 (45%) total
  • After Week 17, Team MVP (league winner) will receive 35%, Runner up Receives 10%, and Practice Squad top score for the week gets 10%.
    • To determine the Practice Squad winner, you will add Week 16 and 17 together for all players, including the one designated as 3rd place.
    • Yes, this means 3rd place can also be the Practice Squad winner and win 25% total
  • Simplified Payouts:
    • MVP – 50%
    • Runner Up – 25%
    • Third Place – 15%
    • Practice Squad Winner – 10%
  • For EFFCS purposes…
    • Once a player is eliminated, they will permanently get that point level for all subsequent weeks.
    • For weeks 1-14, Main Roster and Practice Squad are combined and points given based on overall finish.
    • For weeks 15-17, only scores by people on the Main Roster will count and they will receive 2x playoff scoring.
