- Each weekend, players will submit one or two stocks not revealed until all picks are in for the next week
- That stock’s performance for the week will but your fantasy football multiplier for the week.
- Example 1: You choose AAPL. Apple goes up 10%. Your team will get a 10% bonus that week
- Example 2: You choose AMC. AMC goes down 15%. Your team will get a 15% penalty that week.
- Example 3: You choose GOOGL and META. Google goes up 11% and Meta goes up 7%. Your team will get an 18% bonus that week
- Example 4: You choose QQQ and M. The Invesco QQQ Index gains 5%, but Macy’s loses 2%. Your team will get a 3% bonus that week.
- Any Stock or ETF that trades on the NYSE is eligible
- Exceptions include Leveraged Stocks
- Leveraged stocks/ETFs are commodities whose value is a multiple, generally 2 or 3, of another stock or ETF’s value and directly correlates
- If you don’t understand this, you’re probably not going to pick one on accident. If you do understand this, then, well, you know what we’re talking about
- Exceptions include Leveraged Stocks
- Once chosen, a player may not choose the same commodity twice
- Should a player choose the same commodity twice, it’s return will be considered to be 1% less than the worst single commodity chosen that week, or 0%, whichever is lower.
- Stocks run Monday through Friday and correspond to to the football week that happens primarily after the stock is closed (except for Thursday Night Football)
- A stock’s initial price is considered whatever the stock opens at on Monday at 6:30am Eastern and final price is whatever it closes at on Friday at 4pm Eastern
